Collection: Valentines

Each valentine is handmade by me. I am a magpie of sorts, collecting antique and vintage treasures: paper... French letters, envelopes, ledger pages, old postage stamps, book plates, fabrics: even the tiniest scraps... buttons, laces... broken bits of this and that, old frames, and then I reunite them to make one-of-a-kind tokens of love and friendship. My collection of antique frames (velvet frames, daguerreotype frames, metal frames, etc.) has diminished quite a bit over the years. I don't have many left and it's getting harder to find them.

I always hand cut my valentines with big utility scissors. No templates or die cuts are ever used.
