Quilt design: Flying Crows… instead of flying geese. I thought I’d see how black would affect the overall design and I love how graphic and vivid it looks!
This fun, colorful quilt is ready for your little one to snuggle in or play on! It would be a great baby shower gift, as well. It is also a good size for a small adult throw quilt. It already looks like an heirloom quilt with its eclectic collection of fabrics and crinkly coziness that appears once it has been laundered the first time.
This handmade quilt is made from all cotton: cotton front, cotton batting, and cotton backing.
The front is made up of solid black and bright batik prints.
The back of this quilt is a bright orange swirl cotton print.
It has been machine quilted by me on my domestic Juki machine. No long-arm machine here.
I used a bright orange batik fabric for the double-fold binding. The double fold French binding was machine sewn on the front and hand-stitched to the back.
A label with the maker's name -mine- (Honeysuckle Lane / Lana Manis) as well as care instructions is attached to the back. It has been machine quilted by me, as well.
Size: 50” x 40”.
Care: Machine wash cold. Tumble dry or line dry.
This quilt has been laundered. The more it's washed, the softer and more crinkly it will get.
