Forever… when I tell my granddaughter that I love her, I say “always” and she whispers, “forever”.
The delicate heart and hand are made from aged, stained, watercolored paper. The background paper is from an 1800s French letter. See the tiny ring? It is cut from vintage metallic wrapping paper and it only 1/16” wide!
The antique gold pin is a lovely warm gold. I can’t say if it is gold filled like some of the other pieces I have used in the past. It originally had an old portrait photograph in it.
This piece measures about 1 3/16” x 1 3/16”.
I always hand cut my hearts and hands with big utility scissors. No templates or die cuts are ever used.
