Please read the description!!! This gold tone sewing bird has one velvet pincushion intact. It is missing the pincushion on its back, and I guess that’s why the upper part of the bird is not connected. If it is only on display, it can be balanced on top, which is how I displayed it for years. It could be temporarily glued on and a smaller cushion glued on its back if you just wanted it for display. I know that is a deal breaker for some, but I was happy to have it as-is, given the difficulty I had in finding sewing birds at times. I don’t see a patent date on it.
Bird is 3 1/2” long
Entire piece is 4 1/2” tall with screw fully screwed in.
