Wool Penny Christmas Pillow

This is a large, hefty, lumpy pillow. It is stuffed with wool scraps, giving it that primitive, handmade charm.

Size: 12-1/2" x 17" from seam to seam.

This collection is very similar to one I made a few years ago. The background fabric for these items is a vintage wool army blanket. I still have the section stamped ARMY, just waiting for an idea for its use.
The pennies are all made from vintage wool, salvaged from blankets and clothing.
I have blanket stitched all the pennies together and to the background fabric.

The other pieces in the last photo have already been sold.
