It already looks like an heirloom quilt with its eclectic collection of fabrics and crinkly coziness that appears once it has been laundered the first time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis handmade quilt is made from all cotton: cotton front, cotton batting, and cotton backing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe front is made of 15 25-patch blocks and 15 large single blocks.  I cut and sewed 375 2-1\/2” squares to make all of the 25-patch blocks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe back of this quilt is made from a vintage woven plaid and a brown floral and butterfly print.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI used the brown floral and butterfly print for the double-fold binding. The double fold French binding was machine sewn on the front and hand-stitched to the back.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA label with the maker's name -mine- (Honeysuckle Lane \/ Lana Manis) as well as care instructions is attached to the back. It has been machine quilted by me, as well.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis could be used for an adult throw quilt or a quilt for a child.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSize: 56” x 48”.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCare: Machine wash cold. Tumble dry or line dry.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMachine pieced \/ machine quilted by Lana Manis in the Southern Appalachians.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis quilt has been laundered.
