It was cut from decorative paper that graced the back of a vintage Italian picture frame.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe antique gold frame with twisted trim was often used as a mourning frame, to hold a photograph of a loved one that had passed away.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis piece measures about 2 1\/2” x 2 1\/2”.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI always hand cut my hearts and hands with big utility scissors.
